This sequence from episode 108 features one of my favorite lighting and color schemes we’ve ever accomplished in either Avatar or Korra. The dialogue exchange and fight scene are also among my favorites. As Mike says, “You like shows where stuff happens? Then Korra could be for you. Stuff happens.”

And this is why I love Tenzin. He tries to act like the adult and be all reserved, but then it slips for just a moment when he really feels strongly about something and you can just tell that he’s Aang’s son. And I think that makes him all the more of an awesome character.
As of this morning’s episode, I think I’ve been able to piece together what happened 42 years prior to the events of The Legend of Korra.
Most of this I agree with and makes sense to me.
This is one of the best scenes between Korra and Mako ever. Even though we know Korra to be the most hot-headed person….EVER, Mako is able to get her to calm down before she does something irrational that would endanger her.
Can we take a moment to just look at this?
Mako and Korra have sex!eyes which can be broken down to the following conversation:
Korra: I’d like to bite your meat bun.
Mako: I wonder if she wants me just as bad as I want her.
Korra: Just do me already.
Mako: I should do her already.Meanwhile:
Bolin: Oh my spirits, what kind of filling is this? I should get Mako to get the recipe.Asami: I am one BAMF.
